Hi beautiful people :) my name is Ryki Guevara, a licensed Esthetician, with a deep passion for healing the skin and maintaining acne. My journey on becoming an Esthetician began in High school when I started struggling with acne. I went to my Doctor looking for help, which they prescribed me harsh products that just made my skin worse. After years of trial and error of skin care products, home remedies and medical prescriptions nothing worked. Then one day I went to an Esthetician that my friend had recommended and got my first facial! I absolutely fell in love with the experience. My Esthetician was amazing she gave me her advice on acne and some product recommendations that actually changed my skin for the better. From then on facials were a monthly ritual that I looked forward to. Two years later I decided to become an Esthetician! I did not have an easy skin journey. I still struggle some days with my acne but with my experience and knowledge I have now I am able to maintain my acne. This is a huge reason why I wanted to study Esthetics. My goal as your Esthie Bestie is to help you achieve and maintain a healthy skin barrier through personalized, effective skincare, while addressing your concerns along the way.
